Welcome to North West Pet Rescue
North West Pet Rescue has been formed in response to the overwhelming need indicated in the North-West area for additional welfare services for dogs and cats. The charity aims to meet the needs of ill-treated, abandoned and unwanted pets through offering shelter, care, veterinary treatment and a comprehensive and dynamic re-homing service.We want this to be not only a new rescue centre for the North West but a great one. One which has priorities that are not only to get great homes for these unfortunate animals but to help them cope with the transition whilst in our care, however long that may be and to have trained people who will endeavour to do this to the best of their abilities. It will be a place where the dog or cat is of importance and each animal that comes into the Centre will have an individually tailored care plan to ensure that its needs are best met.
We are currently establishing a temporary centre and are already operating a rehabilitation unit for dogs with specific training needs. Our medium term aim is to acquire owned purpose-built premises in the North West area, and to develop services to gold standard.
North West Pet Rescue is a non-profit making organisation with full charitable status.
