Our Mission

At North West Pet Rescue we care very deeply for the animals that come into our care, our aim is to rescue and responsibly re-home any abused or unwanted cats and dogs and rehabilitate ‘problem’ animals to the best of our ability so that they too may find forever homes.

We strive to keep any animal in our care safe, warm and happy and meet all its needs with knowledge, enthusiasm and positive action.

We will immediately get an animal checked by a vet within a day of its arrival and from there we will discuss a care plan for that individual to work towards getting them into a suitable home as soon as possible.

We will neuter and vaccinate all animals in our care.

We will never put a healthy dog or cat to sleep.

For behavioural problems, we aim to work hard on rehabilitation and find a balance for that individual and a home to suit its specific needs.

For those animals unfortunate enough to not find a home within a short period of time, we will aim to have them fostered into a caring home to help with rehabilitation of behavioural problems and again work to the best of our ability to find a home for these dogs and cats.

We aim to offer responsible pet management advice to the public and provide post- adoption support from our in- house animal behaviour experts so that we can help rescued pets settle into their new homes.
